This particular one, I got because it was more intensive and hopefully, would diminish my sun spots on the side of my face. The cream smells good, and has a beige tint to it. It doesn't have the stinging effects of some of the retinol products out there. I find it very soothing at night. I even use it on the top of my chest where my sun exposure was bad.
